Why was Chahal dropped?
Speaking to the press after the squad announcement, chief selector Chetan Sharma spoke about Chahal's non-selection and revealed that they were looking for someone who can bowl fast.

"We have picked Rahul Chahar over Yuzi as we wanted someone who bowls fast and gets pace off the pitch. He also gets the ball to grip through the surface," he said.
